On a rainy afternoon in the garden city

Let the heaven drown us in its tears and let the black epitomise the darkness of our lives

Let fire burn and all hell break loose

From its labryinth shall emerge she, she who rides the forces and she who feeds it

she who creates and she who destroys

Betwixt the heaven and the earth stood sheand the darkness ahead

Vermillion was her colour, redder than the red of ore

She danced and she laughedDark was the figure darker than dark

And with each step trembled the earth and the heavens alike

Her laughter frightened him not; the dance perturbed him not

Steadfast he stood, his eyes focused on the red ahead

She danced the dance of death; a million steps to the left and a million to the right

Invoking all the powers that be

The heavens rumbled and the earth shook; trees uprooted and the oceans swelled

If there were a storm to be

Twenty two days and twenty two nights; twenty-two dawns and twenty-two dusks

They danced and they fought

He fought like a bear and she like one possessed

Betwixt stood the future of all and one alike

Ten times he lost the battle and ten times she; and each time it was the victor who was to be

He had the power of the Satan, she had the power of He

And who shall rule the world was the one that shall be

And on that fateful day, ere the twenty fifth dawn when the Moon was ascending its final lap

she danced the final dance; with all hands raised and all the powers that be

She drove home the spear that cut his heart into three

Dismembered and aghast, his honour lost there was nothing of him but ashes that be

The heavens rained flowers and the skies streamed light and all was over in the starry night...............
